Pregnant! Euphoria! Or maybe not? Help\u2014what now? You\u2019re actually pregnant! Something you\u2019ve thought about so much as a woman is suddenly a reality! Baby, baby bump, work, maternity leave, boy or girl, ultrasound, stroller, nursery, nausea, tiredness, midwife\u2026 All these thoughts are racing through your head! F<strong>First things first!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Step 1: Call<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Call<\/strong> Give us a call! It\u2019s actually great to call us early in the day. That way, we\u2019ll have time to schedule your first appointment and can provide you with information and tips right away. This can help put your mind at ease. Do you have a question or a problem? Give us a call! We\u2019re always available!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Step 2: Initial Consultation and Ultrasound<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Around the <strong>8 weeks<\/strong> is your first follow-up appointment. This appointment lasts 45\u201360 minutes. We\u2019ll discuss your <strong>medical history<\/strong> and those of the family and ask questions. We provide information about <strong>prenatal testing<\/strong> see; <a href=\"https:\/\/aandelaak.nl\/en\/pregnancy\/prenatal-testing\/\">https:\/\/aandelaak.nl\/zwangerschap\/prenataal-onderzoek\/<\/a> and <strong>Centering Pregnancy<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/aandelaak.nl\/en\/in-practice\/centering-pregnancy\/\">https:\/\/aandelaak.nl\/de-praktijk\/centering-pregnancy\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We also offer a <strong>echo<\/strong> We\u2019ll check to see if the baby has grown well and if there\u2019s a heartbeat. We discuss all new expectant mothers during our practice meetings. We create a care plan that we\u2019ll go over with you later. Of course, we\u2019ll also ask for your opinions and thoughts!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Step 4: Prenatal Ultrasound<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Between the <strong>10 and 12 weeks<\/strong> We can do a first-trimester ultrasound! You\u2019ll already be able to see a tiny little person with arms and legs. We can start determining the due date. Don\u2019t confuse this date with the delivery date\u2026 It\u2019s only accurate in 3% of cases\u2026. Sorry, we can\u2019t be any more precise than that \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Step 5: Miscellaneous Administrative Tasks<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Arranging postpartum care, getting a blood test, the 20-week ultrasound, a class? Yep, yep\u2014now it\u2019s time to get started! We\u2019ll provide you with all the information you need during your first checkups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Step 6: Follow-up Checks<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After that, you can choose between <strong>Centering Pregnancy<\/strong> or standard care. The further along the pregnancy is, the more frequently checkups will be scheduled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We offer customized solutions. So what are your needs? Scheduling an additional appointment is no problem for us (at no extra cost, of course)!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During each checkup, we\u2019ll discuss something specific. By the end of the process, we\u2019ll have gone over everything.
