We\u2019ll schedule an initial appointment (including a vitality ultrasound) at 8\u201310 weeks and, if necessary, an early pregnancy ultrasound at 10\u201312 weeks.<\/p>\n                <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n<section class=\"text-only\" data-block=\"text-only\" data-animation=\"block\">\n    <div class=\"container\">\n        <div class=\"row\">\n            <div class=\"col large-offset-2 large-8\">\n                <div class=\"text left\">\n                    <p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2.png\" alt=\"2\" width=\"50\" height=\"50\" \/>INITIAL CHECKUPS: The initial consultation takes place between 8 and 10 weeks of pregnancy. The purpose of this visit is to learn more about your health. Around 8 weeks, a viability ultrasound may be performed. The first-trimester ultrasound is then performed around 10\u201311 weeks to determine exactly how far along you are in your pregnancy. An ultrasound can always be scheduled earlier if there are any concerns. We\u2019ll listen to the baby\u2019s heartbeat during the second checkup (around 14 weeks).
