By prenatal testing, we mean the <strong>NIPT, 13 <\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>20-week ultrasound<\/strong> and <strong>prenatal testing <\/strong>At the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pns.nl\/nipt\">NIPT<\/a> This test assesses the risk of having a baby with Down syndrome (and Edwards or Patau syndrome). For the NIPT, a blood sample is taken from the pregnant woman.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pns.nl\/13-wekenecho\">13<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pns.nl\/20wekenecho\">20 weeks<\/a> This ultrasound is also known as the Structural Ultrasound Examination (SEO). The name pretty much says it all. During this ultrasound, the baby is primarily examined for structural (visible) abnormalities.<\/p>\n<p>If indicated, we also provide information about prenatal diagnostic tests. The intimate, small-scale setting made us feel right at home. Everyone hears you and knows you. They\u2019re available 24\/7. You can call them even for the smallest things\u2014to discuss something or just to share your story. And if necessary, they\u2019ll be at your door as soon as possible, or they\u2019ll schedule appointments at the hospital for you. They\u2019re not just there for the baby and the mother\u2014they\u2019re also a listening ear for you as a (soon-to-be) family.
